It’s been a while! I do hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer, and that you made the most of the generous quota of sunshine that we were offered. We enjoyed a precious time of rest and recuperation, but - I must admit - I’m also relishing the return to a routine….
I’m delighted to let you know that my next retreat will be taking place on Saturday 18th October from 10am-4pm at Worcester Park Baptist Church. The title is ‘How then shall we live? Sustaining our spiritual lives in troubled times.’
On many occasions, this year, I’ve certainly felt the heaviness of these present times - both personally, and collectively - and I’m well aware that the struggles we face impact profoundly on our spiritual lives. How do we bring the hard stuff to God? How do we listen to what God might have to say? Can we be sure that God is even listening in the first place?
As ever, I hope to offer a day which combines thoughtful reflections, times of collective worship and sharing, plenty of stillness and solitude, creative activities and homemade cake. What’s not to love?

I’m hoping to offer two free places at this retreat, if I can, so please enquire directly with me if this is something you’d like to take up. And do let me know if you have any difficulties booking, or any other questions. Please do spread the word and let others know, if you think they’d like to come!
